Annual Membership FAQs

How do I know boats will be available?

Boat club memberships come with reserved premium days each season, so you are guaranteed weekend days throughout peak season.  Additionally, our limited enrollment paired with unlimited additional use ensures the boat is frequently available.

Are there daily usage fees in addition to membership?

Premium membership comes with seven reserved premium days plus unlimited usage at no additional cost.

Standard membership comes with five reserved premium days plus unlimited usage at just $75 per outing.

How many times can I go boating per year?

You are welcome to boat unlimited days per season.

Do I have to fuel?

When you arrive, your boat is fueled and ready for use. At the conclusion of your voyage, simply trailer and park the boat back in its designated parking place.

Do I need a vehicle to drop/trailer the boats at the ramp?

Yes. There is no on-water boat storage in our area. Boats must be trailered.

The pontoon and trailer have a dry weight of 3600# and we recommend a 4wd vehicle with at least 5000# towing capacity.

Please contact us with any questions regarding towing and trailering boats.

Who can I bring with me?

As long as a member is present, you can bring friends, family, guests, children, or colleagues.

Do I need to bring my own lifejackets?

You are encouraged to purchase your own life jacket that fits properly.  Standard safety life jackets are on board each vessel for all passengers.

Do you offer boat training and safety classes?

Yes, one-on-one training for members can be scheduled at anytime. Training covers trailering, launching, a comprehensive training of the boat’s features, docking, and parking.

What safety equipment is on the boat?

The following safety equipment is required and remains on board at all times - Personal Floatation Devices for every passenger, a type IV throwable device, a fire extinguisher, a whistle and audible horn, skier flags, and a paddle. Additionally, a first aid kit, fenders and an anchor are on board.

Are there any toys or towable equipment on the boat?

It is not recommended to use towables on the pontoon boat because of the exposed outboard prop. Floats/paddleboards are fun and welcome on the pontoon boat.

Which lakes can I use the boats?

There are a few options for local lakes including Ruedi Reservoir, Rifle Gap, and Paonia Reservoir. It may be possible to discuss using at different lakes.

Are there any daily use or parking fees?

Daily parking passes and seasonal passes are available at our local lakes. You are encouraged to purchase the parking pass that best matches your membership and needs. Keep in mind that the parking pass allows access even if you are not boating to enjoy the beach and day use areas.

Can I bring pets?

Pets may be allowed with prior approval.
